Dirty Plaid is an Oakland based Alt Rock band out to show that real rock is alive and well in the 21st Century
Dirty Plaid was established in the Spring of 2021 by George Sudol, Lead Guitarist and Song Writer. The other band members are Shreyas Shetty on Drums, Charles Shaheen on Bass, and Sean Tannehill on Vocals. They currenrtly perform around the Bay Area.

George Sudol,
the Lead Guitar player and lead song writer, started Dirty Plaid in 2021. George has been playing guitar for 17 years and started Dirty Plaid with the mindset of creating high intensity Alt Rock music that 's lyrically meaningful and true to the roots of genuine, raw modern rock music.
Shreyas Shetty
is a rock drummer with over 20 years of experience and known for his dynamic style and versatility. As the drummer for Dirty Plaid, he brings a distinctive rhythmic voice defined by powerful grooves, layered patterns, and evolving dynamics that drive the band's sound. Shreyas has played in bands across the world and his sound is heavily influenced by bands like Tool, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, and Pearl Jam, as well as individual drummers like Dave Grohl and Gavin Harrison.
Chuck Shaheen,
the Dirty Plaid bass player, has been playing bass since he was 18. Chuck has deep roots in Fresno's gritty music circuit and has carved out a steady onstage presence over the past 2 decades. His sound draws from a dark and dynamic spectrum of influences, ranging from the brooding intensity of Nike Cave to the genre-defining edge of Faith No More and punk mainstays Bad Religion and the Rollins Band, all combining for a uniquely fluid and textured song writing and bass playing style.
Sean Tannehill,
Dirty Plaid's Lead Vocalist, has many years of musical training and experience with several bands, each with different styles of modern rock. Sean's voicings stem from a myriad of influences from angsty skate punk to heavy metal. He delivers a flexible singing style that stretches from angry rasps to soaring, clean tenors, reflecting the variety of influences that he contributes to the band.
